A very tranquil park close to Southport center. Theres a very nice cafe with pleasant staff, toilet facilities at the north end. Southport's observatory has open days and a very pretty greenhouse. Lots of wild life, various birds, squirrels and the odd hoghedge :)
Free parking on the roads nearby a great place to have a walk and clear ones mind 😊

Great park ,with good play area for children, great lake full of ducks. Good walks , the on site cafe is better than it used to be , clean and well maintained, good choice of hot cold drinks food and ice cream , outside seating , but you have to walk 300 /400 , yards outside the park to a grotty public toilet , not the best if you have young children, the toilets cost 20p with no card or contactless option available, the cafe must get fed up giving change out , why don't sefton council put a loo next to cafe , even a portable loo .

Very nice park, lots of wide paths and ramps so it would be wheelchair accessible, plants all appear well managed, lots of lovely fountains and ducks to feed, bins throught the park appear to be emptied regularly, didnt see any litter either so thats good, overall a nice park, would visit again :D

Love this place. Has something for everyone it’s a pleasure to have on the doorstep. Only slight snag is the toilets they ming in summer.

Lovely park in the city, great to take your dog, who can be off the leash as long as you don't go close to the pond or in the playground. There is a lovely little cafe that does great breakfast barms all day (9 to 4, every day). A walk around is around 15 minutes, but there are little paths that meander this way and that so you could spend a lot longer.

Nice little park for a stroll. Great cafe for a brew after. Take some seeds and feed the very grateful ducks.
